ROTARY ACTION GROUP FOR REFUGEES, FORCED DISPLACEMENT, AND MIGRATION
Refugees and Internally Displaced People (IDPs) are among the most vulnerable individuals and families in the world. Their number has increased substantially, with more than 100 million people forcibly displaced in 2022. Countries with large numbers of displaced populations include Afghanistan, Myanmar, Somalia, South Sudan, Syria, Ukraine, and Venezuela. The Rotary Action Group publishes a range of knowledge products, including global reports, a quarterly bulletin, and interviews. Below is a list of available products.

Global Reports
In 2020, with the Rotary Club of Washington Global, we published the report "Providing Relief and Creating Opportunities for Refugees." The report provided context on the refugee crisis and showcased the work of Rotarians engaged on the frontline in providing support to refugees and IDPs. Download the Refugee Report (2020).
In 2021, we published a report on "Empowering Women and Girls through Education" with case studies of Rotary projects from all over the world. Download the Empowering Girls Report (2021).
We are currently finalizing a report on case studies of projects with refugees, IDPs, and migrants, including cost-benefit and cost effectiveness analysis.
